Melanin-Safe Brightening: What We Use, What We Refuse

Bright is not the same as bleached. Here is the exact ingredient framework our aestheticians use for African skin.

The word brightening gets weaponised in the industry. It gets sold to us as bleaching in a nicer bottle. It is not the same thing and our facial ritual makes the distinction visible.

We work with tranexamic acid, niacinamide, alpha arbutin and vitamin C in low, layered doses. We do not use hydroquinone. We do not use mercury. We do not use any product that refuses to list its ingredients on the pot.

Every product we apply is shown to you first. If you want to see the tub, ask for the tub. If you want to keep the name written down, we write it down. Transparency is not a nice-to-have here. It is the reason our regulars stay.

Make roomfor the ritual.

Come experience the house for yourself.
